Epsilon Lambda Alpha is established for the purpose of providing new members to the fraternity and sorority community with enhanced learning opportunities for continued personal and communal growth as developing leaders, members of the Greek community, and of the Texas State University campus as a whole.
Epsilon Lambda Alpha exists to provide new members of the Greek community with opportunity to develop and establish themselves as effective leaders, learn about the various councils within the Greek community, to provide new members with a concrete knowledge base of which to expand upon what Greek leadership entails, to aid in new member passage into respective chapter and council executive roles, and to unify the Greek new member classes in order to move the fraternity and sorority community in a positive forward direction.
Epsilon Lambda Alpha, the Emerging Leaders Academy, is looking for new members for Spring 2017 and we need your help! We are looking for dynamic members of our Greek community who have joined in Fall 2016 and are interested in developing their leadership skills.
The primary objective of Epsilon Lambda Alpha is to help members develop the necessary skills to become a leader on this campus while also having the opportunity to meet and work with other future campus leaders. We want the participants to learn ethical leadership, values congruence, and many other skills in addition to helping bring together our Greek community.
*Members who joined a fraternity or sorority in Spring 2017 will be eligible to participate in ELA in Fall 2017*
